- To keep track of multiple logins to the same site via the use of key words or other identifiers.
- To help keep up with changing authentication requirements.
- To enable bookmark and login sharing across computers without resorting to writing anything down or relying on devices like PDA's, key fob's or anything that could be stolen or lost.
- To be able to access bookmarks from any computer, PC or MAC

Principals
Chris Southern
Chris Southern, CTO, is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology where he earned his Bachelors in Computer Science. While in college Chris interned for Cabletron Systems in their Network Management Software Group. During Chris' final year at RIT he teamed up with Lawrence Sterne to create one of first financial e-commerce websites, Wall Street Research Net (WSRN.com).
While Chris was starting WSRN.com, he worked for Questra Consulting where he designed and implemented enterprise client/server web systems for Fortune 500 Companies such as Kodak, Xerox, First Union Bank and MCI. In 1997 he left Questra Consulting to work at WSRN.com full time.
WSRN.com was sold in 1999 to internet.com. At internet.com Chris took on the role of Director of Technology. Chris' group was responsible for new development for over 100 sites as well as developing back end e-commerce systems for the company.
In 2001 Chris left internet.com to pursue new ventures. During the last few years Chris has developed a new e-commerce system for websites that includes advanced Digital Record Management techniques. The new system is being used by four companies to process online sales.
Lawrence Sterne
Lawrence Sterne, CEO, began programming computers in the 1960's. A graduate of Harvard College, Sterne has spend the majority of his career in the securities industry as an analyst, and has been the director of research for Economic Analysis Associates since 1983.
In the early 1990's Sterne teamed with Chris Southern to develop WSRN.com, a pioneer among financial web sites. Together, Sterne and Southern developed one of the first stock screening systems as well as a comprehensive e-commerce solution that was unique in its day. After the sale of WSRN.com, Sterne became Editor at internet.com, creating, acquiring and ultimately supervising fifteen web sites and their employees in the financial arena.
