Origin story

Before the creation of Passguard, there was a a sense of astonishment. How is it that there is so much information available on hacker forums, yet organizations know so little about it? How can we, as a society, accept that individuals are merely pawns of hackers because these hackers possess more information than the individuals themselves? Why is it that organizations are hacked on a large scale using the data available on the dark web, without knowing this data being a priority for information security specialists?
We understand how both hackers and intelligence agencies operate when misusing dark web information to attack organizations. We also understand how challenging it is to filter out valuable data from the vast amount of information on the dark web, as well as the difficulty in making meaningful connections between this data. We know how hackers and intelligence agencies go about misusing information and attacking organisations. We thought it was high time to turn our astonishment into action: to help organizations navigate the complex array of dark web risks and return stolen information to its rightful owners. That's why we founded Passguard.
