Passguard announces partnership with UK cybersecurity firm S-RM

Passguard today announces a partnership with S-RM, a global cybersecurity and intelligence consultancy, bringing Passguard’s infostealer intelligence and dark web monitoring into S-RM’s cyber security services.

S-RM provides cyber and intelligence services globally, including incident response, managed security and offensive security. Its incident response team handles more than 800 cyber incidents each year and has been named Cyber Incident Response Team of the Year for four consecutive years, from 2023 through 2026.

Through the partnership, S-RM uses Passguard to identify compromised credentials and sessions linked to infostealer infections. This provides its teams with additional intelligence both when investigating incidents and when helping organisations identify potential security exposures.

Martijn Hoogesteger, Chief Technology Officer at S-RM, said:

In our first few months, we were already able to attribute the point of infection in a couple of incidents to infostealer compromises, which has been a game changer. Previously, we didn’t have that level of visibility and ability to determine initial access so quickly in investigations.”

The collaboration also extends beyond incident response, with S-RM and Passguard working together in managed security and offensive security.
