Passguard featured in ITchannelPRO as the European choice for dark-web monitoring
Oct 24, 2025

Passguard was recently featured in ITchannelPRO in an article titled “Passguard: the European choice for dark-web monitoring”, highlighting the company’s focus on detecting threats such as infostealer malware across criminal marketplaces.
In the article, Passguard CEO Tom Leijte explains that the threat landscape has shifted from exposed passwords to stolen session data, including session tokens, which attackers use to bypass multi-factor authentication. Passguard continuously monitors criminal markets and provides organisations with detailed intelligence on infected devices, session exposure and compromised access.
The piece also highlights Passguard’s positioning as a European and ethical alternative in the dark-web monitoring space, noting that the company does not pay for data from criminals and instead builds its own verified access into underground markets. Organisations such as Damen Shipyards, AFAS Software and Royal FloraHolland are already using Passguard’s platform.
A recent investment round led by cybersecurity experts demonstrates continued confidence in Passguard’s approach, supporting further growth in dark-web intelligence services across Europe.
