Passguard named #2 Cyber Start-up of Europe

Passguard has been named runner-up for the Tech & Cyber Startup of the Year award during Cybersec Europe & the Computable Awards 2026, one of Europe’s leading cybersecurity events.

Selected from a group of sixteen nominated startups, the recognition highlights the growing importance of tackling infostealer malware and compromised session threats at scale. For the Passguard team, the award is an important milestone and a strong validation of the company’s vision for the future of cybersecurity.

From the beginning, Passguard was never built to become another dark web monitoring company. While many solutions focus on identifying leaked credentials after exposure, Passguard takes a fundamentally different approach by helping organisations detect and stop infostealer infections before attackers can weaponise stolen access.

Infostealer malware has rapidly evolved into one of the most effective initial access vectors used by cybercriminals today. By stealing credentials, browser sessions, cookies, and authentication tokens directly from infected devices, attackers are increasingly able to bypass traditional security controls, including MFA.

Passguard helps MSSPs, MSPs, and enterprise security teams gain visibility into compromised devices and exposed sessions in a scalable and operationally efficient way. The platform was specifically designed for large-scale environments where unmanaged devices, third-party access, remote work, and SaaS adoption continue to expand the attack surface.

The recognition from the Cybersec Europe and Computable jury reinforces the growing need for proactive visibility into identity and session-based threats, areas that are becoming increasingly critical within modern cybersecurity strategies.

Congratulations as well to XFA for taking home this year’s award.

For Passguard, this recognition is not the finish line. It is another step forward in the company’s mission to fundamentally transform the way organisations fight infostealer infections and compromised access at scale.

We’re just getting started.
