Passguard nominated for Tech & Cyber Start-up of the Year

Passguard has been nominated for the Tech & Cyber Start-up of the Year award during Cybersec Europe 2026, one of the leading cybersecurity and technology events in the Benelux. The nomination was announced by Computable Belgium as part of the annual Computable & Cybersec Europe Awards.

The award recognises emerging technology and cybersecurity companies that are building innovative solutions to address today’s rapidly evolving digital threats. According to Computable, the category is specifically aimed at startups less than five years old that are delivering impactful cybersecurity or IT solutions within the European market.

Passguard was selected for its approach to combating the growing threat of infostealer malware and compromised session data. The platform helps organisations detect exposed devices, stolen sessions, and compromised credentials before attackers can use them to gain access to corporate environments. As cybercriminals increasingly rely on stolen session tokens and unmanaged devices, this type of visibility is becoming critical for modern security teams.

Earlier this year, Computable also featured Passguard in its “Start-up in de kijker” series, highlighting the company’s mission to track and mitigate infostealer activity across criminal ecosystems and underground marketplaces. The article explored how the company combines threat intelligence, automation, and dark web monitoring to help organisations proactively reduce cyber risk.

The nomination places Passguard alongside a group of promising European cybersecurity startups presenting at Cybersec Europe 2026 in Brussels. During the event, nominated startups pitch their solutions live to an expert jury as part of the official award programme.

For Passguard, the nomination is an important recognition of the growing relevance of infostealer detection and session-based threat intelligence in today’s cybersecurity landscape. It also reflects the increasing focus within the industry on proactive visibility into compromised identities and access exposure, areas that are rapidly becoming central to cyber defence strategies.
