Royal FloraHolland adds Passguard to Cyber Subscription for its members
Jan 19, 2026

Royal FloraHolland has expanded the Royal FloraHolland Cyber Subscription with a dark-web scan provided by Passguard. The dark web scan helps organisations identify whether stolen credentials or business data are being traded on criminal marketplaces.
The Royal FloraHolland Cyber Subscription is a free initiative aimed at strengthening the digital resilience of growers and buyers. The subscription provides access to cyber security updates, practical tools and knowledge, and has now been extended with a dark-web report based on Passguard’s scan.
Why a dark web scan is important for cyber security
Royal FloraHolland CISO Bas Wevers explains why this addition is important:
“By gaining insight into leaked data, we not only understand what is happening, but also gain clear options for action. This enables growers and buyers to take targeted measures to prevent further damage.”
The dark-web scan identifies whether data has been leaked, what type of data is involved, and when the data was compromised. Based on the report, companies can take appropriate follow-up steps, such as changing passwords or strengthening access controls.
Strengthening cyber security in the floriculture sector
By adding the dark-web scan, Royal FloraHolland strengthens the Cyber Subscription with a concrete and accessible security measure. The scan provides participants with a current view of their digital risks and supports the broader goal of improving cyber resilience across the floriculture sector.
